LWGV3 moulded case circuit breakers apply to AC circuits with rated voltage up to 690 V and rated current ranging from 1 A to 80 A. They deliver overload, open-phase and short-circuit protection for three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motors, as well as infrequent motor starting control.The breakers can protect power distribution circuits, conduct infrequent load switching, and function as disconnectors.

The series complies with IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-4.1 and EN 60947-1 standards.
The switch and contact assembly can realize direct start of electric motors. The LWGV2 series has an enclosure protection rating up to IP65.
This series includes three model types:
- LWGV2-M, ME: Button-operated motor circuit breakers with thermal-magnetic protection;
- LWGV2-RS: Change-over switch operated motor circuit breakers with thermal-magnetic protection;
- LWGV2-LS, LE: Change-over switch operated motor circuit breakers with magnetic-only protection (without thermal protection).
